The Old Fashioned Italian Veal Braciole. This is the typical recipe for preparing veal chops.
In Southern Italy, one of the classic dishes to serve for lunch on Sundays.
SERVINGS: Serve 4
INGREDIENTS:
- 8 veal slices;
- Parsley;
- Salt and pepper;
- Garlic;
- White wine;
- 1 Bottle of Tomato Sauce;
METHOD:
- Roll out the veal slices and add a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Add the parsley, chopped cheese and garlic.
Now roll up the slices and close them with toothpicks.
- In a saucepan, sauté half an onion finely chopped and add the chops.
- Cook for 10 minutes and add a glass of white wine.
- Once the wine has evaporated, you can add the tomato sauce.
- Add a glass and a half of water, a tablespoon of salt and cook over low heat for about 1 hour and a half.
- In another pot cook the pasta and when cooked, after having drained it and put it back in the pot, add the sauce of chops.
