The Crisp and Buttery Italian Cream Filled Cannoncini. There is an Italian pastry called “cannoncini”, which means “little cannons”. These are a bit like cannoli, but filled with pastry cream instead of ricotta cheese. Cannoncini are very similar to cream sticks.
